Sergio Plaja is an accomplished world class TaeKwon-Do competitor and champion of the Guatemala National and Central American in the light weight division.

Since 1979, Sergio has dedicated himself to his art. He obtained his I Dan Black Belt at the age of 15 and at 17 years old, he was named to the Guatemala National Team. He obtained further recognition as bronze medallist at the1989 Pan American Championship.

Since coming to Canada, Sergio Plaja continued his training under the supervision of Grand Master Ken Chung, VIII Dan in Kukiwon. In 1999, Sergio Plaja realized his dream, opening Millennium Taekwondo in the Town of Orangeville.

His passion for the art and dedication to teach has attracted increasing numbers of students and resulted in the opening of three additional locations in Grand Valley, Shelburne and Erin.

Millennium Taekwon Do currently has over 20 black belt instructors headed by Sergio Plaja.
